Our History

Technical Allied Products, Inc. was founded in 1985 by Eleanor and Joseph Finoia, both of whom were experts in the electronic, voice, data and communications industries. The couple eventually leased space in an old factory building in Wallingford, CT, which they transformed into a modern, efficient manufacturing facility. Through hard work and dedication the firm quickly gained recognition for its superb quality, customer support and on-time delivery.  As the business prospered, it was evident that a larger and more modern facility was needed. The result was our current location at 68 South Turnpike Road, Wallingford, CT.

Woman Owned and Family Operated

TAP is woman-owned and still operated by the Finoia family.  Even as we have grown, we have not lost sight of our original mission: to offer great products and customer service at competitive prices. Every day we go the extra mile to meet the increasing demands of the communication and data industries.

We Recycle

Technical Allied Products recycles everything we can in all our commercial processes: copper, corrugated cardboard, PVC, wooden reels, plastics and metals.  We rarely buy shipping containers and have a recycle program for our office and employees.
